The 44-hectare Malaya Island is part of the proud Calamianes Group of Islands in Northeast Palawan, widely-regarded as one of the best island groupings in the Philippines. Everything from its densely-vegetated land to its blue, breezy waters suggests unrestrained tropical frolic.

The island has an untamed, almost primeval quality which will satisfy your back-to-nature impulses. It has a wealth of woodland trees placed in the island like a heavy green brocade, their leafy growth bathing the island in refreshing shade and coolness. The shoreline is laced with lines of coconut trees, while the hinterland houses a flourishing diversity of hardwood and softwood. The topography is wide and flat but a prominent hill range stands in the inland portion.

Belonging to a prestigious tropical island neighborhood, Malaya Island has access to popular tourist attractions in the area including spectacular views, old shipwrecks, and high cliffs which wall and hide two beautiful lagoons and fantastic lakes. The characteristic white sand beach of the Calamianes islands is of course present.
