Arriving at the Juan Santamaria airport is the main airport of the country, at a distance of 30 km from the capital, San José (1000 meters above sea level) Alajuela is a city which has around 400.000 inhabitants, and it is about 8 or 10 km south of the airport (900 mt above sea level)
From here begins to arrive to the POAS volcano (which has the world's largest crater) traversing a street paved pan until it reaches SAN PEDRO DE POAS, a town of 26,000 inhabitants where: The Municipality, the Delegation of the Civil Guard, Social Security, the cathedral and the four best banks in the country, (we are around 1500 meters above sea level) following the path of the volcano is reached after 10 km to the called Sabana Redonda Poás (1500 inhabitants) on the road, at your left hand is the gate to the property.
We are 1,900 meters above sea level and 14 kilometers from the volcano which is at 3,600 meters above sea level.
In Alajuela we have a typical tropical climate (34/36) and in San Pedro is a temperature of 33, on our property, thanks to the altitude is a temperature between 15/17 at night, and 26 on the day with a pleasant ventilation.
At the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean temperatures reaching the 40/42 degrees.
At the entrance there is a characteristic gate which always remains open, with a security shed, 100 mt and you arrived to the main building of the restaurant which is divided:
1 - The first floor crosses a filled landscape, entry to the first local reception and bar, in order to get together the first lobby restaurant with a small-natured way.
Beside this a kitchen with wood-burning oven, a refrigerator room (about 110 square mt) communicated with the living room.
In the first floor, there are three rooms, with three bathrooms, private and personal use, plus three bathrooms for men and women. All measured 400 mts.
In the first restaurant lounge there other lounges, a restaurant and bar with separated man-woman bathrooms (the two new halls amount 250mts).

4-A short distance away, there is another modern house made of brick with two spacious triple room apartments with bathrooms. Those bathrooms are communicated by a door which can stay open or closed.
