SKI Turecká is a ski resort located in the heart of Veľká Fatra/The Great Fatra. For visitors it offers a range of sport, recreational and tourist facilities directly under the peak of Krížna (1574 m), about 16 km from Banská Bystrica.
In ski resort SKI Turecká, the ski slopes are situated on the southern slope of Krížna -  there are 7 ski slopes that are divided according to the difficulty for all categories of skiers. The longest one is nearly 3,5 km long and  is one of the longest ski slopes in Slovakia. SKI Turecká offers also the opportunities for enthusiasts of alpine skiing because it is the starting point for many alpine skiing tours (for example to Kráľovská studňa /The Royal Well – 1384 m).
