The regional center Haskovo with plenty of shops, restaurants, amenities and regular buses to Turkey is just 15 minutes drive from the house. The village is only 80 km from Greece and Turkey. In 4 km there is a private surgery and another lake used as a fishing place. The village has crystal clear air. It is used mainly as a holiday place by the nearby towns and is preferred by people suffering from asthma. The region is characterised by fertile land and moderate continental climate, ideal for people loving long walks, horse riding and fishing. The area boasts delicious fruit and vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, melons and water melons, grapes, cherries, peaches etc. A Dutchman has already permanently settled down in the village. |
