Independent Country Villa suitable for six people. Originally, it was a hay-loft and now it has been restored into a beautiful house with all modern comforts and amenities .
Entering the Villa, there is a characteristic living room with its original terracotta floor and beam ceiling. A large sofa perfect for lounging is in front of the television. Some steps down, there is an original wood and stone oven and spacious dining room, which is very cozy.
In the villa, there are three double bedrooms, all of them with original floors and beam ceiling. Each has an en-suite bathroom, two with a shower and one with a bath tub. There is a laundry room downstairs.
From our beautiful terrace upstairs you can enjoy some breathtaking views, especially at sunset and have a great glass of Chianti, since we are in the very heart of this famous wine production area.
This green oasis is very well located and close to all facilities you might need: restaurants, supermarkets, shops, and cafes are just 4 km away. Greve, which is the unofficial capital of the Chianti area, is 10 km away, Florence 12km away and Siena is easy to reach at only 30 km through the beautiful winding roads of the Tuscan countryside.
La Pietraccia is located at the top of the Mezzano Hill, from where you can find a numberless paths and little roads to take a walk or ride your bike.
Nearby the beautiful village of San Paolo in Chianti and the little town of Strada in Chianti, both have a mix of general stores, souvenir shops and restaurants and wine bars. Nearby the Villa you can find typical country activities such as horse riding (2 different places at 3km), fresh water lake fishing, and a golf courses at Ugolino Golf Club (8 km away). It is also a great area for mountain biking and trekking. |
