Once a coffee farm the property was converted into a Hotel Fazenda (guest ranch) in 1918. Originally built in 1792 in a classic colonial style, the main house went through minor modifications and refurbishing and has been carefully preserved.
Other buildings such as: the former "senzala" (slave quarters), the sugar mill, the patio for drying coffee beans and the old train station evoke the historical past.
All 90 rooms are equipped with air conditioning; color TV, phone, mini fridge and a hammock hanging by the front door.
Two official tennis courts, three volleyball courts (including one for beach volley), two soccer fields (official size and society), indoors courts for volleyball, soccer and basketball, squash court, fitness room, children playground, swimming pools for adults and children and much more.
The convention facilities include a conference room in a secluded place, capable to accommodate up to 120 people.
