On the outskirts of the beautiful Apulian town Taranto and directly on the sea , we are offering a 1000 m² big old masseria , that has been restored on most of its parts and is currently being used as a disco bar , restaurant , cabaret , open air cinema and event location .
The massive building has a tower and a roof terrace from where you have a beautiful sea view . There is easy access to the masseria , as it is located close to a main road . The masseria is surrounded by 2 hectares ( 5 acres) of olive grove with century old olive trees , producing a fabulous extra vergine olive oil .
If wanted , the current structure could also be converted into a bed and breakfast business or small hotel . Inside the building there are big rooms with very beautiful , high vaulted ceilings , a typical feature of the ancient Apulian building style .
Part of the masseria , which has been built in the 17th century , is an olive mill and a small private chappel , dedicated to the Madonna del Carmelo .( not in use anymore ) The masseria used to be an olive oil producing farm .
Nowadays it is a place to relax and to spend pleasant evenings , dining in the typical restaurant or dancing in the disco Club . Especially in the warm season , many well visited events ( music , cabaret , theater and more ) take place outside .
