Thracian Cliffs Golf & Spa Resort is created by one of world’s most reputable and prolific architects–WATG. The master planning is carefully prepared by WATG to combine architecture traditional for the region using brick, stone and wood and interior design offering all the comforts of modern living. All residential buildings are small in size, 2 and 3 storeys, usually with no more than 3 apartments per floor. The legendary Gary Player was back at Thracian Cliffs in August to oversee construction of the incredible course he designed especially for the development.

During a busy working meeting, Gary walked the course with the constructors fine tuning the positions of bunkers, fairways and other features ensuring that Thracian Cliffs will be both stunning to look at and challenging to play.


Gary was also on hand at a packed media reception to answer questions from Europe ’s press, and is clearly looking forward to playing his course. “Thracian Cliffs without question has the potential to be the best golf course I’ve ever been involved in,” he said. “When people in Britain and Europe see this course, they’re going to be flabbergasted.”

The Marina Village is the commercial and entertainment center of the resort. Situated only a few meters from the water it is a residential area with shops, restaurants and a cozy, colorful piazza.
