Near the town of Kazikli is the bay of Kazikli, which has two restaurants and a few jettys, from which people can swim and sunbathe on.
One of the restaurants has a floating pontoon. In summertime the pontoon is pulled away from the shore, where you dine out in the bay and dinner is served via rowing boat.
As the Bodrum peninsula expands Kazikli will become more developed, with the inevitable construction of houses, however this will be restricted somewhat due to the planning regulations and the number of historical buildings in and around Kazikli bay.
