is situated on the narrowest place of the meander created by the river.
The original fortress which stood here already in the year 1289 .
After the year 1312 it was inherited by the House of Lipá and then the
whole property was bought by the House of Kravare. The new owners
rebuilt the fortress into an ostentatious medieval castle.
The castle was rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau (1512-1562).
This property is suitable to be reconstructed to the hotel – congress centre
due to a location and lay-out.
The Castle Park
Only a few cities can boast of such a beautiful castle park. It was founded
by the princess Eleonore Marie of Oettingen, the spouse of the
Lord Charles of Liechtenstein. On the area of 12 ha, in an English style,
you can find a lot of uncommon species of leafy and coniferous plants
as the alpine errant, maple-leaf plane, arc black pine. This park doesn´t
belong to the castle for a sale but can be rented for free
