(5) It also directly benefits the economic development and political empowerment of local communities. The lodge will create more avenues for employment for people in the surrounding area, which will in turn improve the livelihood of people in the area.
(6) The lodge will help inform guests, staff and visitors on the importance and value of a healthy ecosystem, and describe how to best enjoy the area without impacting it.
(7) This world class lodge will be marketed abroad, which will create awareness; bringing in more tourists, which will, in turn, bring more foreign exchange to the country. It contributes to the local economy, and helps demonstrate that ecotourism is a more sustainable long term way to earn income than destroying or altering habitats for short term gains.
(8) Along with the lodge, a health centre will be built to better enrich the lives of the people in the surrounding area. Part of the revenue earned will be put back into the community by creating educational awareness.
(9) The creation of cottage industries will have a positive impact from the construction of the lodge, locally made gifts, souvenirs and promotional materials all made from local available materials which will lead to increased employment and better development of the surrounding area.
(10) We intend to use all the natural features available, and create a symbiotic relationship between the lodge and the natural surrounding fauna and flora. We intend to use the natural undulating topography and foliage to create a world class unique lodge that will be in a class of its own.
