The oldest part was built in gothical style. Originally this mining house had its own mining equipment and mine-tunnel. The early renaissance reconstruction gave to this place four wings with the nordeast opened central yard.  In 18th century, after the property was bought by a Dutch family of Geramb, the house was remodeled into a baroque palace.

During the 20th century the palace was used as a hospital. Only after was the hospital  closed and another reconstruction was about to start, the historians found a very interesting and valuable wall paintings with exotic motives such as african and aisian humans, exotical fauna and flora,animals like camells and elephants. All this was preserved under the top layer of painting and it is waiting to be repaired.

There is a project to convert this beautiful palace into a top hotel with a nice representative rooms and presidents apartments. The area where the palace is located is as amazing from the historical, technical, natural and relax point of view as the palace itself.
