1 bedroom with double bed.
2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds (also the possibility to make double beds).
Presence of a safe in each bedroom.
Bathrooms
Casaflor has 2 bathrooms with wc and shower and electric ventilation.
The whole house is fitted with floor heating.
Kitchen
Luxury kitchen with a gas stove, oven, grill plate, exhaust, expanded service, the fridge and freezer, electric coffee maker, electric juicer, lemon squeezer, an electric kettle, hand blender.
Utility Room
In the scullery: iron board, washing machine and drier, clothes horse vacuum cleaner.
Living Room
The house itself has a comfortable living room: dining table with chairs, sofas and the use or television with satellite, audio equipment, DVD and and internet access. The whole house is fitted with floor heating.

Cleaning/ towels/ linen/ maid service
Casaflor is managed by a Portuguese resident who speaks French. The house is cleaned 1x a week. Linen for the bath, beds and the kitchen is available. Use of robes and towels for swimming pool.
Outside
The terrain is about 6000 square meters. A new tennis court with excellent views. The swimming pool (5x12 m), with its Roman stairs that slope down 2 metres into the water, is situated next to the terrace and 8 steps lower and is walled in at 2 sides.
Outside you will be confronted with the sight of beauty of the area planted with palms, lavender and oleander. The terrain is fenced and has a lockable electric gate.

Golf
Praia D'el Rey - Along the Atlantic Coast, 25km west of Obidos. Can be reached within ½ hour. Course: 18 holes, 6467 m, par-72.Type of course: Unique combination: links with high dunes and rolling, sandy heather landscape with fully-grown pine-trees.
Golden Eagle - Golden Eagle: 60km north of Lisbon. Can be reached within ½ hour.
Course: 18 holes, 5997 m, par-72. Type of course: Rolling heather landscape with a few heightened tees, lakes and fully-grown trees.
Special interest holidays
- Obidos is a very well restored, authentic, entirely walled medieval town. During daytime it is a tourist draw with attractive shops, restaurants etc. There is also a music centre where concerts are regularly performed. In Obidos there is an antique market on the first Sunday of the summer months.
- Caldas da Rainha - 10 minute drive from Casaflor. This is a more commercial tourist town; every morning there is a vegetable and fruit market in Caldas at the Praca das Frutas.
The advantage of Obidios and its environment is that the many attractions are close to each other.
- Other attractions are:
Alcobaca: beautiful monastery. Go to Sao Martinho: visit the bay. Then return to the secondary road towards Nazareh which has an upper and lower town. Somewhere on the left in a village there is a sign for Salgado-praia. It has a very wild sea, which is too dangerous to swim in.
- Other places worth a visit are Tomar (monastery), Coimbra, Fatima, Sintra (only a one-hour drive on the motorway) You should definitely visit the bizarre castle Palacio da Pena, but also wander about in Sintra. A visit to Lisbon is also recommended: visit café Brasileiro in the centre. At the expo site there is a very beautiful sea aquarium.
General Information
Coast/beach
Various beaches at just a 20 minute drive, both at the lagoon and along the Atlantic Coast: Baleal, Foz d'Arelho, Sao Martinho. In the vicinity there are several historically interesting towns. Sintra and Lisbon are also within reach, because of the new motorways.
The coast line of Peniche is wild and beautiful. Some way before Peniche lies Baleal. We think that the best beaches can be found here.The beach of Foz d`Arelho is also a good place to visit.
Travel
From Lisbon it is a 45 minute drive to Quinta Casaflor. The journey is simple on the A8 motorway. All the main car hire companies are based at the airport.
