Apartment-hotel Agava
The apartment hotel AGAVA is situated at the entry of a narrow bay within the Novigrad Sea, at the end of which is a famous fishermen's centre, the picturesque town of Novigrad (mentioned in written documents as far back as the 13th century). Owing to the river mouth of Zrmanja, the Novigrad Sea is abundant in fish and shells, this contributing to the attractiveness and rich supply of fish. The place offers possibilities of attractive excursions into the Zrmanja canyon (by boat), the national park Paklenica (30 km away) and the town of Zadar (33 km away).
Novigrad is about ten kilometres away from the branching road of the highway Zagreb-Zadar.

NOVIGRAD, a village and port on the southern coast of the Novigrad Sea, next to the submerged mouth of the Draga brook. Chief occupations are farming, viticulture, fishing and tourism. There is a public pebble beach with a small wood. Novigrad is located on a local road, branching off from road of the main (M2, E65).
Novigrad was first mentioned as a castrum at the beginning of the 13th century. On a hill above the village is a fortress from the 13th century. |
