About the resort
Centrally located in the beautiful countryside and nature to the west of Willemstad
you will find Kunuku Aqua Resort Curacao. The elongated island is here at its narrowest. On the
highest point of the resort you can see the sea to the north and the south side of the
island. A very special sensation. The beaches Daaibooibaai and Portomarie
are very close, a good restaurant like Daniel mansion is even within walking distance.

Kunuku (pronounced koenoekoe) is the generic name of the rural parts of the lower Leeward
islands. Kunuku can both significance country side or rural plantation. A Kunuku house ie outhouse has the characteristic features. At Kunuku Aqua Resort you will find Kunuku house on
our logo and playhouses as the park. In the vicinity of the resort are several
uninhabited kunuku houses in original look as a tourist attraction.

From January 2010 started the construction of 46 villas. The villas are spacious, luxurious
in design and well situated to provide enough privacy. The resort
has several large swimming pools with palm trees and banana leaf palapa's to provide
the necessary shade, exciting water slides, sun beds in a beautiful pool area and a
playground with a real Kunuku playing houses.

All villas are built in a unique Caribbean style and are located in a tropical
garden where the lush fauna and flora present. You stay in an oasis of greenery with
colorful bougainvillea, jasmine plants, aloe plants and dadelpalmtrees.

The sugar thieves, and hummingbirds will troepiaalbirds your thoughts and you sing great
feeling in a true paradise to be ended. The whole resort is walled and has
a private security 24 hours a day which is present. A safe feeling! Cars are
separate parking facilities. This keeps the park quiet and safe for you and your children.
