 The farm, called “ Terra di Pace”, is only 3Km far from Noto, with a beautiful view on the baroque town. The location is strategic too; in fact the building is at the heart of southeastern Sicily area. This area is full of: archaeological attractions (Syracuse, Akrai, Eloro, Noto Antica, Pantalica), naturalistic (like the Reserve of Vendicari, Reserve of Cava grande, Portopalo) or monumental (like Noto, Palazzolo Acreide, Caltagirone, Scicli, Modica, Ragusa and Catania, UNESCO heritage). Since 1993 the farm practises the biological agriculture as choice of life of actual owners. The examination and the certification of the cultures are carried out by competent local authority. The cultivations are: 20.700 sq.m. of Citrus grove (lemon and tangerine); 20.800 sq.m. of olive grove and for the other square meters of gardens, the water to irrigate the lands arrive from a drill well. The farm is composed by 6 apartments with kitchen, bathroom, air conditioning and veranda, of which three is inside a building of ancient manufacture, and three are new house made with bio-architecture‘s methods. The furniture is of solid wood, latex mattresses. The farm can accommodate until 19 guests at the time, but it is possible expand the receptivity. The farm has a restaurant with kitchen according to law; inside it can accommodate until 25 guests. The swimming pool of 10x4 meters is surrounded by meadow and shaded by trees and by a wooden gazebo. Strength of farm is an internal path, 700 meters long, which winds through the olive groves. It is transformed by the owners in a way of spiritual regeneration, called “peace’s way”.
