The project is in the state Minas Gerais, The colonial town Santa Barbara is part of the Estrada Real (Royal road), and the gold circuit. The baroque church of Santa Barbara is considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil.
It is surrounded by a National park (Caraca), with beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and other  touristic Colonial towns  (Ouro Preto, Catas Altas). It is 105 km southeast from Belo Horizonte, the third biggest city of Brazil.
There are 3 units (chalets) with 2 rooms,
And 4 units with 3 rooms. A total of 18 rooms.
Each room is 36 sq m. and, has a bathroom with shower and whirlpool (2 by 2m), an open fireplace, a minibar, wireless LAN, and a LCD flat screen TV.
All the rooms have a fantastic view on the national park.
The Restaurant of 180 sq m, with Brazilian and international cuisine can also be used as conference or event space.
The wooden deck in front of the restaurant is 500 sq m, with a heated swimming pool of 22 m long. Under the deck is a sauna with relaxing area.
There is an extra chalet for fitness and massage.
Weekdays the hotel will be booked by the managers and clients of the biggest iron mine of Brazil (Vale do rio doce), witch is 20 km from Santa Barbara, weekends and holidays we are counting on Brazilian tourists. The whole budget for construction, interior, and marketing, is evaluated 600.000 Euros. The investor or partner will own 50 of the whole project.
