The castle Horní Maršov was built in 1792 in the baroque style. The platform stairs of the frontispiece have a very  impressive effect. In the southwest corner rises a prismatic tower, which is ended by a bulbous dome. The whole complex (the castle and the farming buildings) formes a closed square.
The entry hall keeps the disposition and symmetry of the outside platform stairs. The authentic baroque concept and the requests of aristocratic living of the 19th century join up in the interior of the castle because of the reconstruction in the neo-renaissance style in the second half of the 19th century.
