| DESCRIPTION |
Progresso is a small Mexican resort on the gulf coast, where many water sports can be enjoyed. Progreso
beaches has fine sand, slopes and waves. The most outstanding beaches are Chelem, Costa Azul, El Malecon,
Costa Blanca, Chuburna and Yucaltepec. The fishing village of Chicxulub , with its white sand beaches, is also
worth a visit, as are the nature reserves close to Telchac. En route, visit the impressive ruins of Dzibilchaltun,
including the Temple of the Seven Dolls. Stay a day, a week, a month...
"La Casa Amarilla" is a 2 Bedroom vacation home with a
fully equipped Kitchen. Fully furnished dining room and living room. Perfect for single family or couple. Lots
of privacy, with large lawn in front and around the house and spacious garden in the back. One
Bedroom contains a twin bed, hammock and a vanity stand. The other hammocks as well as a queen size
inflatable mattress. Prefer to sleep in a hammock? We have plenty available (please ask)! Dining room table
for 4. Private Parking. Quiet and safe neighborhood
with the ocean 2 blocks away!

There is no A/C—-almost no houses around here have it since the sea
breeze is so constant. But there are fans throughout.
Activities and Attractions
This is not a fancy house with loads of extras, but it is sweet, clean and quite comfortable and is located a
short walking distance to the coast.
Right next door to Progreso is Chicxulub a charming town, delicious traditional local food, great fish and
people.
Mexico’s largest convenient store chain OXXO (like Seven-eleven) 2 blocks away.
Club Campestre is a popular prestigious social club with a pool and restaurant right near OXXO. During
summer season many disco
parties by the coast as well.
During spring break and summer vacation there is plenty of nightlife.
A drive away to a pink flamingo lookout along the highway to Telchac Puerto.
*Bus stops just at the corner to go and return to Progresso. 10 min to downtown Progresso.
Surrounding Areas of Progreso: Beaches and Mayan Archeological Sites
including Dzibilchaltun (about a 20 minute drive), Merida (roughly a 35 minute drive) and 10 minutes to
flamingo viewing area.
The sites to visit are truly endless!

the ability to do well with a phrase book and pantomime!)
