As from up here you are 200 meters (220 Yards) above sea level, your eyes sweep over steep headlands and pinnacles of rock that protrude from the sea. It is a dizzying experience, therefore when you first arrive you may want to take a minute to get your breath back.
This view extends across the most wild and unspoiled part of the Amalfi Coast. There is peace and tranquility, the air is pure and clear, and although you may feel as if you are in another world, the festive holiday atmosphere of the coast is only just around the corner.
A few steps from the entrance to the villa there is a well-known viewpoint that caters to people who want to stop and enjoy the panorama, one of the most beautiful views on the coast. From here starts the famous path for walkers called the Sant' Elia Path, which descends towards the sea through bushes and the typical flora of the Mediterranean maquis, and offers you incomparable glimpses of the panorama. The path, once used by the inhabitants to reach the sea, leads you to an old abandoned fisherman’s hut on a peak overlooking the sea.
