The resort sits on 14.6 acres of land amid some incredible views of the surrounding pine forests and its valleys and mountains.
It has 19 thatched cabanas, including a family sized unit, and all have private bath and hot water and screened porches. The domestic area is contained in 5 acres of nicely landscaped gardens which include many exotic flowers and shrubs and over 450 species of orchids.
Other buildings include a restaurant/bar that will seat 40 diners; a reception office and gift shop; and the staff accommodation and dining room and kitchen.
Many of the cabanas are perched on the side of the steep hill over-looking the beautiful falls and river meandering below. There is a funicular-type transport down to the river or for those more energetic, a cement stairway allows guests to take full advantage of the beautiful scenic views while getting some exercise.
There is a hydro system for electricity and water comes from the pristine mountain streams and rainwater.
An established resort, popular with groups, etc. and catering to guest with a choice of tours. Guests can relax by swimming in the river; sitting out on a deck and watching the incredible star-filled sky in the evening; or by taking advantage of the many tours and activities that are offered.
