 This large farm or “Fazenda” » of 670 Hectares (6.700.000 Sq. meters) from which 550 Hectares are preserved nature, it’s medium altitude is about 150 meters over the see level and is location is about 30 kilometers away, north from Ilheus, close to the "lagoa encantada" (enchanted lake) and partly on the National Park of Conduru, about 350 Km south of Salvador de Bahia by the road BA-01. Use : A large part of the farm; about 556,7 Ha (about 5,5 million Sq. meters) is located on the Park of Conduru and thus protected as a native ecological fauna and flora reserve and untouched tropical rain forest. Various type of plantations can be conducted such cocoa, latex, palm oil, exotic fruits, etc under the trees but no industry can be installed. The remaining part of nearly 114 Ha is free for development, buildings and Eco-resort activities. Private roads, 220v electric power; potable water from creeds inside the farm are at disposal. Agriculture:Except for some Palm oil (dendé), latex and piaçaba areas already existing and cultivated in a traditional way, there is no actual agricultural use, and for this reason there are excellent conditions to obtain an organic producer certificate from IBD. Due to the exceptionally favourable climate of this region, the agricultural possibilities are huge and includes a very large variety of exotic fruits and spices including: cocoa, clove tree (var. Indonesian), nutmeg, pepper from Jamaica, mangosteen, cinnamon, vanilla, etc. The culture in agro forest system (under the shadow of the Mata Atlantica-tropical rain forest) is used in this region of Brazil. Other uses : Agricultural tourism or eco-tourism (plantations, biodiversity, fauna, flora, beach) and fish breeding on the dams.
