The fazenda is a historical coffee plantation farm first built in 1842, by Antonio Jose Silva, then later sold in 1855 to a young gentlemen called Comendador Benjamin Salles Pinheiro, who arrived with 18 slaves and started to plant coffee. He married Candida Peregrim, daughter of a wealthy coffee plantation owner of the area the Visconde de Ipiabas. With the large diary of Candida the fazenda was enlarged adding all the comfort and luxury of the bourgeoisie of the era. The fazenda is located in the region of Rio das Flores within the Rio de Janeiro State. The estate is in excellent condition and well kept. Considered one of the most beautiful properties of the region which consists of around 350 hectars half formed with pasture, lots of water, a river, water falls and mines, along with 10 water holes for cattle. The stable is fully equipped for managing beef cattle, tractor, machines, 150 head of beef cattle Canchim, 10 water buffalos, 6 horses, sugar cane and grass for feeding cattle, a milking room with freezer and 3 cottages for staff’s family The manor is historical and totally restored and furnished with elegance (antiques) – furniture included!
