All apartment units are more or less the same size, however of the 8 apartments 4 are facing the ocean, each apartment is 55 to 60 M2 or 550 to 600 SFm and rents for 300 a month....The operating costs of the building are basically none...very small...it only pays like a 10.00 water bill and 30 electricity...each renter pays for its own water and electricity...
No businesses or commercial generating income activities are taxable on the island....So there are no taxes to be paid...The building also has a restaurant towards the ocean. It is also in better shape now, since the owner has invested considerable amounts of money in painting and restructuring.
Taboga Island is becoming ever more popular with a huge very nice modern hotel being built on the island....I believe, the tenants will soon have to pay more for their rents...Also, you may change the building into something nicer and make it a pretty small hotel.
