“Podere del sole” is an exclusive estate, a cultivated oasis surrounded by the wooded hills of the Valdarno area, 500 m above the sea level. It is served by a sealed road, within easy reach from a typical village provided with shops and restaurants. The estate comprises 13 ha of Chianti DOC vineyards, lawns, a park and an olive grove.
The heart of the property is the landlord stone-house, featuring a rectangular footprint and a tower, built on several stages staring from the 15th century; the house has been thoroughly and sympathetically restored, recovering the beautiful stone façade and timber beamed ceilings. The inside of the house is used as an agriturismo: the reception area is located on the ground floor and is also used as a display for the farm’s products (wine, grappa and oil).

The 6X12 m outdoor pool stands on an elevated position in respect to the house, and is immersed into an impressive park featuring centuries-old oaks and pine trees.
