Sliven is situated on the international highway which connects Sofia to Burgas. Sliven is only 110 km away from the biggest commercial sea port of Bulgaria-Burgas. One of the biggest golf-courses in the country is in Sliven.
The village is set near the Stara Planina Mountain, the area is suitable for hunting and fishing.
