Plantations
Since the well-being of the plants depend on conditions of the plantation, the land
•May not be too low to avoid flooding
•May not be too flat so that drainage is possible
•May not have upward gradients of more than 15 degrees to exclude soil erosion
•Must be accessible to motorized vehicles all year round
•Must be fertile
If an area complies with these requirements, soil samples are eventually taken and examined for suitability.
All our plantations are in the eastern province of Darien on areas that were used for agricultural purposes before. No rainforest is destroyed to put up the plantations. The plantations are guarded all year round.
Teca-invest (teca - span for teak)
Teca-invest is a one-hectare teak plantation, on which 1,100 teak trees are planted.
Ongoing destruction of the remaining natural forests, higher demand for wood in the future and the necessity to protect nature will bring about shortages on wood markets and higher prices. This way investors take advantage of sustainable forestry management with a contained risk, contributing with their investment both ecologically and economically.
A different way of thinking has made sustainable products very popular in recent years. For that reason teak plantations are a real investment alternative and the fast growing wood will play an important role in the century of raw materials.

Selva-invest (selva span. Rainforest)
Selva-invest is the area of one hectare of rainforest at the price of 12,500 US .
This surface is needed to neutralize the CO² emissions of a human life.
We are offering our investors the acquisition of:
•Rainforest in its present condition.
•Bushland which is sparsely wooded and which is reforested.
•Former areas of arable land, which are reforested.
•Mixed forests; former plantations and areas which are partly covered by rainforest.
This way further destruction is reduced

Investor's visa, visa-invest
In accordance with a law effective from 27th April 2006 the Panamanian government has implemented an investor’s visa for reforestation activities. With an investment of 40,000 dollars, it is now possible to apply for a permanent residence permit. There are absolutely no restrictions for foreigners to buy properties.
•With the purchase of a surface of two hectares of teak plantation or five hectares of rainforest, our attorneys on site will assist investors to apply for the visa in the easiest way possible.
